ACT UP! is a live, interactive class that prepares students for successful test-taking.
For the past 6 years, UUNIK Academy has sponsored ACT Prep Sessions (Fall and Spring) serving over 500 students from over 25 area middle and high schools in East Tennessee. In that time, we have developed proven strategies that result in lower stress levels and higher test scores.

FAQs
When should students start preparing for the ACT?
While we recommend youth learn test-taking skills early in their academic careers, this course best suits students in the 8th - 11th grade.
How credible are the course instructors?
Our ACT staff and advisors include current teachers, retired principals, and top college students with a combined 50+ years in education.
Can you guarantee that my score will go up?
We cannot guarantee that your score will go up simply because there are too many variables to consider students take their tests. What we can guarantee, however, is that the strategies have been tested and proven to be true to help students become more confident with the material and help improve their chances to score better..
What kind of scores are you aiming for?
Our annual goal is for our high school students to score 24 or higher on the ACT.
Is this a self-paced course?
This course follows a schedule that features Q&A Sessions, so we'll make sure you stay on track; however, the course materials include items for self-study that you can use to practice on your own terms as often as you'd like!
How many students do you serve?
Our ACT Prep Sessions serve 100 students annually.

MEET REGGIE JENKINS
A professional speaker, author, and educational consultant, Reggie graduated from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and minor in Statistics.
ACT UP! was founded in 2019 by Reggie Jenkins, Executive Director of UUNIK Academy. UUNIK ('unique') Academy is a non-profit organization dedicated to the transformation of students in the Knoxville community. Its mission is to assist in the holistic development of youth in order to produce successful, productive adults. UUNIK was founded in 2003 and has served over 2,800 students in East Tennessee. ACT Prep Sessions are just one of the many impactful programs under the UUNIK Academy umbrella.
Reggie's dream to expand UUNIK Academy's reach to support more youth comes alive through this live, interactive course.
